C-CREC Online and Distance Education Program In Development Source: Mortgage Magazine ©2001 The National Association of Real Estate Consultants (NAREC) founder, Julie Garton-Good, C-CREC, DREI announced today that an online version of the Consumer-Certified Real Estate Consultant (C-CREC) course is in development. The course will be offered through the NAREC website at: http://www.narec.com and via CDROM. Due to an overwhelming response to the new business model and designation course, NAREC has received over 700 emails from real estate professionals requesting an option to the live course. A large portion of these requests have come from Ontario Canada, United Kingdom, Mexico, Alaska, Hawaii, Australia and the Carribbean. According to Julie Garton-Good, Founder of the association, "Consumer-Certified Real Estate Consultants are the new breed of real estate professionals. They perform an in-depth analysis of the consumer's needs using an unbiased approach that's devoid of "selling" anything. The C-CREC can then assist the consumer in reaching desired results. Garton-Good stated, "In the changing face of the real estate business, it's necessary for professionals to re-tool to offer consumer friendly, unbundled, a la carte services via a consulting approach. The C-CREC designation training is focused on a "Consumer-centered; Results- focused" approach that will be invaluable for assisting today's savvy real estate consumer." The Consumer-Certified Real Estate Consultant (C-CREC) designation is awarded to real estate professionals who exemplify excellence in real estate consulting, recipients must complete course work, meet experience requirements, and demonstrate their ability to successfully analyze and address the needs of consumers in a variety of real estate applications.
